NUMA - NextGen Urban Mobility Academy

The NextGen Urban Mobility Academy (NUMA) aims to enhance urban mobility innovation through education and training in cities of Athens and Istanbul.
The project aims to:
  • Develop a Tailor-Made Training Program: Special training modules will be created for at least 90 participants consisting of municipality employees and university students within the scope of NUMA. The training program, consisting of a total of 6 modules, will cover greening/electrification of urban mobility, supply chains, business models, innovation and clean technologies, as well as the gender dimension of urban mobility. The modules will be prepared in a format that includes both theoretical knowledge and practical application. Additionally, the modules will include a self-study component and will be tailored to the specific needs and interests of the participants.
  • Organize Stakeholder Events: 10 online events will be organized in order to disseminate project impacts and engage stakeholders in urban mobility initiatives
  • Promote Women’s Participation: Women’s involvement will be emphasized to boost their representation in urban mobility sector.
  • Achieve Online Reach: An annual target of 10,000 online interactions will be aimed for through a dedicated training platform and social media.
