MMU and Kent Magazine Partner with the Urban Future Global Conference

One of Europe's leading conferences on sustainable urban development, Urban Future brings together local governments, international organisations, academia, the private sector and civil society each year to discuss solutions for the future of cities. Organised in Istanbul in 2027, the conference is expected to convene urban leaders, experts and practitioners from around the world.

The programme will address a wide range of contemporary urban issues, including climate change, urban resilience, participatory governance, sustainable mobility, public spaces and urban branding. Through conference sessions, site visits and interactive formats, participants will exchange innovative approaches to the common challenges facing cities today.

MMU has been an official partner of the Urban Future Global Conference since 2025. Kent magazine, published by MMU Publications, will also once again serve as a media partner, covering the event and sharing its key discussions, insights and good practices with its readers.

Through this collaboration, MMU and Kent magazine aim to contribute to bringing international urban discussions and inspiring practices to Türkiye's local government ecosystem.
