Ortaklaşa International Cultural Cooperation Call Has Opened
Since 2023, Ortaklaşa: Culture, Dialogue and Support Programme has developed a model of collaboration between civil society organisations active in the field of arts and culture and municipalities in Türkiye. By fostering participatory approaches to cultural policymaking and project development, the programme has contributed to strengthening local collaboration. In its new phase, Ortaklaşa expands its scope internationally through its partnership with Culture Action Europe.
Strengthening Cultural Cooperation Between Türkiye and Europe
Opened on 17 September 2026, the International Cultural Cooperation Call aims to bring together civil society organisations and local authorities from Türkiye and Europe. The call seeks to strengthen international networks, encourage sustainable cross-border cooperation and support cultural mobility. Building on the experience of the programme’s first three years, the impact of supported projects will also be expanded through mentorship and advocacy activities.
Applications must be led by a civil society organisation active in the field of arts and culture and established in Türkiye. Each project must include a CSO partner from an EU Member State, Albania, Iceland, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Kosovo or Serbia. The partnership must also include one participating municipality from Türkiye and one from the eligible European countries.
Grants of EUR 60,000–120,000 Available
The call has a total budget of EUR 890,000, with grants ranging from EUR 60,000 to EUR 120,000 per project. Grants may cover between 70% and 95% of the total project budget, and supported projects will run for 9 to 12 months.
