MMU Signed Mou with IGLUS

Marmara Municipalities Union (MMU) and École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the Innovative Governance of Large Urban System Program (IGLUS).

The agreement was signed during Marmara Urban Forum (MARUF) on 1 October 2019 by Mr. Tahir Büyükakın, the President of MMU and Mayor of Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, and Mr. Matthias Finger, the Chair of Management Network Industries (MIR) at EPFL as well as the Director of IGLUS. Within the scope of MoU, both sides have agreed on supporting each other’s publishing activities and organizing joint training programs. The agreement, which paves the way for mutual knowledge and experience sharing on various fields, also provides a great opportunity to candidates of IGLUS Executive Master Program. Those who will be nominated by MMU will be able to benefit from a 60 % reduction in tuition fee for IGLUS Executive Master Program.
